Carlos Alazraqui is the Voice of The Taco Bell Dog
Carlos Alazraqui is a voice you’ve heard a thousand times but probably didn’t realize it. I think he is best known for his work in front of the camera James Garcia in Reno 911. However, he has dozens of voice credits in many cartoons. These include Fairly Odd Parents (he is the teacher Mr. Crocker) and Handy Manny (as Felippe the Screwdriver) (the first time I saw Handy Manny, I though well they made a show with a latino character but they made him a construction worker? Stereotypes anyone? But it’s actually pretty cute and my daughter likes it). As for commercial work he was the voice of the Taco Bell Dog, Yo Quiero Taco Bell. This was an incredibly popular catchphrase when I was in college, a period of my life when I ate quite a bit of Taco Bell.
